Mother Alice is widowed, he has two sisters, Linda (who is a bit of a girl) in the Starlights and Sheena who is quite holy and reserved and a young brother Michael to whom he is a hero. He has a grandfather, old Sandy Bruce, his mother's father, a great old storyteller and ex soldier, who is Jack's hero. Drymains. Sandy's pal is Willie McIver.</p>
